Our Story

We are a husband and wife team, returning to the ground they grew up on to a provide our community a local, organic food source. As a USS millwright and a real estate agent turned farmer, with the help of our family members, are restoring an old family farm so we can support our local community and aims to steward well the land God created.

We follow organic practices with regenerative and permaculture principles to provide the most nutritious food possible while giving back to the land for future generations.

The Farm

We have just over 17 acres of land that has only ever been organically maintained. It is named after the tulip magnolia trees that have been on this land for 150+ years (fiddletrees, or what most natives call tulip trees). They are a beautiful sight when in full bloom, especially at their majestic heights!

Currently we offer fresh produce, flowers, and our seedlings which we start from seed using soil blocking as our main method. We use only organic growing materials, and focus on using heirloom breeds that have withstood the test of time. We use heated hoop houses to germinate and grow our seedlings. Our plants are fed a proprietary manure blend to fertilize and help them grow. We do not grow genetically modified food and we do not use synthetics or artificial hormones on our plants. Food should be clean and come from nature as God intended.

Previously we offered heirloom breed chickens that we bred, and we aim to provide heirloom chickens to you again in the future, along with pasture raised lamb.
